Error frecuente

Incorrecto: I have 25 years.

Correcto: I am 25.

La edad se dice con be: I am 25, no con have.

MarkoCon he, she e it, el verbo lleva -s: she works, it rains. En negativas y preguntas, la -s pasa a does y el verbo queda en su forma base: does she work?
Futuro

Cuatro formas de hablar del futuro

  2. probablemente, o decidido al hablar

    I will probably ring him tonight.

    Seguramente lo llamaré esta noche.

  3. en curso en ese momento

    At nine tonight, I will be finishing my tasks.

    Esta noche a las nueve estaré terminando mis tareas.

  4. terminado para entonces

    By tomorrow, I will have rung him.

    Para mañana ya lo habré llamado.

Error frecuente

Incorrecto: I gonna finish it tonight.

Correcto: I'm going to finish it tonight.

Gonna es como suena going to al hablar; por escrito va going to, y el am no se quita nunca.

Marko¿Decidido ahora mismo o solo una suposición? will. ¿Ya planeado o se ve venir? going to. Luego mira la fecha: si entonces sigue en curso, will be + -ing; si para entonces ya está hecho, will have + V3.
